Vicks^® DayQuil^®

USES

Temporarily relieves common cold/flu symptoms:

• Minor aches
• Sore throat pain
• Pains
• Fever
• Headache
• Nasal congestion
• Muscular aches
• Cough

DIRECTIONS

Use Tablespoon (TBSP) or dose cup.

Under 6 yrs: Ask a doctor
6-11 yrs: 1 TBSP or 15 ml
12 yrs. & older: 2 TBSP or 30 ml

Repeat every 4 hours, not to exceed 4 doses per day or use as directed by a doctor.

If taking NyQuil® and DayQuil®, limit total to 4 doses per day.
Failure to follow these warnings could result in serious consequences.

Store at room temperature

ACTIVE INGREDIENTSÂ per 2 Tablespoons: Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 60 mg, Acetaminophen 650 mg, Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 29mg.

INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Citric Acid, Flavor, Glycerin, Polyethylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, Saccharin Sodium, Sodium Citrate, Sucrose, Yellow 6. SODIUM CONTENT: 141 mg per 30 ml dose.

WARNINGS

Do not exceed recommended dosage. Do not use with other products containing acetaminophen. If nervousness, dizziness or sleeplessness occur, discontinue use and ask a doctor. Do not take unless directed by a doctor if you have:

• Heart disease
• Thyroid disease
• Persistent or chronic cough
• Excessive phlegm (mucus)
• Persistent or chronic cough
• Difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland
• Asthma
• Diabetes
• Emphysema
• High blood pressure
• Cough associated with smoking
• Breathing problems

ALCOHOL WARNING: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional advice or contact a poison control center immediately. Prompt medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. Do not use this product if you are on a sodium-restricted diet unless directed by a doctor. Drug Interaction Precaution: Do not use this product without first asking a doctor if you take:

• prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug or if you are uncertain whether your prescription drug contains an MAOI.
• Dosing Duration: Do not use over 7 days (for adults) or 5 days (for children).

TAMPER EVIDENT: Do not use if imprinted shrinkband is missing or broken.

ASK A DOCTOR

• If sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days, is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea or vomiting.
• If symptoms do not improve, are accompanied by a fever that lasts more than 3 days or if new symptoms occur.
• If a cough persists for more than 7 days (adults) or 5 days (children), recurs or is accompanied by a rash or persistent headache. A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition.
