Jenelle Sobotka


Jenelle Sobotka is Director of Professional Relations with Procter & Gamble. In this position, she serves as liaison to professional groups including pediatrics, primary care, and pharmacy. Her work with the pharmacy profession includes programs with US colleges of pharmacy and state and national pharmacy organizations. Prior to joining P&G, Sobotka was Associate Director of the Iowa Pharmacy Association and Director of the Iowa Center for Pharmaceutical Care (ICPC). ICPC provides pharmacists training to enhance their patient care services. Dr. Sobotka co-authored the book, "A Practical Guide to Pharmaceutical Care" written by the ICPC faculty and published by the American Pharmacists Association.

Sobotka's pharmacy practice background also includes community, clinical specialist/internal medicine, and academia. Sobotka has served two terms with the American Pharmacists Association Board of Trustees and is also a past two term member of the Ohio Pharmacists Association Board of Directors. Dr. Sobotka's experience with pharmacist patient care projects includes specific interest in the application of patient care management skills to the Self-Care and nonprescription medicines arena.
