The National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations (NASPA) and the Nonprescription Medicines Academy (NMA) have partnered to provide the NASPA/NMA Student Pharmacist Self Care Championship. The event, which is endowed by P&G, promotes active learning of self care conditions and nonprescription medicine.
The 2010 NMA Annual Conference will be held from September 23 – 25 in Cincinnati, OH. The Annual Conference provides an unparalleled opportunity for pharmacy faculty to network and share ideas in the field of nonprescription medicines and self care conditions.

• Beginning January 1, 2011, consumers will not be able to purchase nonprescription medications with funds from flexible spending accounts (FSAs) unless the medication is prescribed by a health care provider.
