Procter & Gamble has introduced Dayquil Mucus Control DM, a combination liquid product containing the cough suppressant dextromethorphan (10 mg/15 mL) and the expectorant guaifenesin (200 mg/15 mL). It is labeled for use in patients 6 years of age and older.

The Robitussin line of products has expanded to include Robitussin To Go Cough & Chest Congestion DM and Robitussin To Go Cough & Cold CF. Both products provide single doses of the respective liquid formulation in portable, prefilled 10-mL spoons. They are intended for use in patients 12 years of age and older.
